Hello. I am Spartanis. A Composer from Australia hoping to share his music for all. There is not much for me to say but my music usually revolve around movie scenes.
Ever since my passion of movies and the music behind each scenes, i developed the taste of making my own. Of course, I do a few alternative songs. Bit of rock, bit of pop.. or even a "ode" to some of the classics music from famous band 30+ years ago or so.
I have an amzing vision in my mind. and that vision enables me to create music in my dream. Thus in turn, i transfer my dream music into reality.. for you to listen......
Have you performed in front of an audience?
At this stage no. I havent played live since I started pursuing music 6 years ago.
Your musical influences
oh lets see now.. Vangelis, Danny Elfman, Enya, Bono, Phil Collins to name a few bands that influenced me.
What equipment do you use?
a computer
Anything else?
Yes. it would be interesting to note that I myself is born deaf in both ears due to Rubella. I have sustained a 95% loss in both ears.
It may seems weird for a deaf man to develop passion of music. Not so, it seems natural. I beleive it is the luxury of sounds that we all take for granted, that i take pleasure in.
I have my own motto that sums it all up:
"If Beethoven can do it, So can I"

Hi Spartanis,
You have some good drama writing here. Its also interesting to listen as your sound library evolves with better instruments ( for songs near the top). I would suggest taking advantage of some of hte newer libraries out today, its amazing what technology can do.
In terms of the music itself, its very good dramatic writing. But in order to get that perfect mix of music that works well for film but also can be heard as a stand alone product, you need to have more clearand strong motifs in your music. Music for me begins with a central theme and then I variate around it. Best of luck!
Hey Spartanis,
Listened to and quite liked your Supergirl theme music. The composition itself is quite nice; the presentation (the sounds) are a bit stiff and mechanical, but that's just detail.
Thanks for dropping by and your comments on 'We Could use a Hero, Spiderman!'
Blessings,
Cam
I've got a lot of respect for you, man. You're taking on a big task, trying to learn alone when you can barely hear. It is definitely possible to learn, so I would suggest taking a music theory course to learn intervals, chord progressions, etc. Then, if you have someone to help produce your music, it would work out splendidly!
If you don't have time for taking courses (I've never had time either), then I would suggest joining in on the Soundclick forums to get feedback on your music and valuable advice.
Well, thanks for stopping by.. Hope to hear more from you.
this sounds like what it is -- computer generated music. there is really nothing wrong with it, although i prefer a bit more of a human touch.
