Sex and Hip Hop

Hip Hop drives sex and sex drives hip hop. But when does sex take over the Hip Hop artist and corrupt the music? The answer, when the artist becomes a sex offender or a pervert to the point of negative attention. Groups like 2 live crew and NWA created some of the sexiest rap music ever heard, artist like GZa created songs like Rated X, and R&B music today uses lots of Hip Hop terms in the words of the songs and blend the culture together. So when you make sexy music or listen to it just remember that children do not need to exposed to the grown up lyrics of these songs they get enough of it from TV lets keep it sexy and make it respectful again. I have lots of sex references in my songs and I like to mix it up a bit with tunes like Shake It Girl and Give It 2 ya! I hope to here more from the artists making it fresh these days and not copying what they already like. Sex is always the same but forever changing so grow with it and go slow wit it. Don't move to fast we all know what happens then. Until next time keep it sexy. -Omega Raw

12 COMMANDMENTS OF HIP HOP

HOW TO REALLY REPRESENT FOR HIP HOP COMMUNITY ------------------------------------------------------------------ I AM A LEADER IN THE 707, THE 404 AND THE 410/310 AND 302. MY HOME IS WHERE I SAY IT IS.... I HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN THE HIP HOP PROGESSION SINCE 1999 AND I HAVE BEEN A RAPPER SINCE 1985 5 YEARS OLD. I HAVE TRAINED OVER A DOZEN EMCEES JUDGED 1000'S WORKED WITH HUNDREDS AND PREFORMED WITH THE BEST LYRICISTS AND PREFORMERS IN OUR BUSINESS. I HAVE WORKED WITH THE BEST AND PARTIED WITH THE REST. I HAVE OVER 55 CHARTED SONGS AND TENS OF THOUSANDS OF LISTENERS IN OVER 35 COUNTRIES WORLDWIDE. I AM A TRUE HIP HOP INDEPENDENT. -------------------------------------------------------- MY WORDS CARRY WEIGHT AND MEAN SOMETHING TO A LOT OF PEOPLE. WHEN I TAKE IT AWAY FROM THEM BY NATURE THEY BECOME UPSET, IF I TEAR INTO THEM THEY NATURALLY RESIST AND RUNAWAY. - KHARRAN BEACHEM AT&T SALES TRAINER ========================================================================== I AM TIRED OF THE MISREPRESENTATION OF MY CULTURE. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ LET ME BREAK THIS DOWN FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO BENEFIT THE COMMUNITY AND TO THOSE WHO THINK THEY ALREADY DO. ==================================================================================== #1 IF ANOTHER LOCAL ARTIST/AFFILIATE SUPPORTS YOU IN ANYWAY... BUYS YOUR TSHIRT, BUYS YOUR CD, SPREAD THE WORD, GIVES YOU ART RIGHT DOWN TO A KIND WORD.... DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT AVOID OR NOT SPEAK TO THE ARTIST WHEN HE IS IN YOUR PRESENCE ARE VICINITY. REASON BEING YOU DO NOT KNOW WHO OR WHERE OR WHAT THE OTHER PERSON KNOWS OR CAN DO TO YOU OR FOR YOU. Simple as can be. #2. DON'T SPEND YOUR OWN MONEY AND ACT BIG LIKE THE COMMUNITY INVESTED IN YOU. GLAMOR AND APPEAL ARE WONDERFUL THINGS BUT THE REAL GLAMOR COMES FROM THOSE WO NOTICE YOU AND YOUR EFFORTS NOT YOUR BIG WATCH OR YOUR FANCY CAR OR THE WOMEN YOU HAVE. #3. DON'T MIX DRUGS AND ALCOHOL INTO THE PRESENTATION YOU GIVE TO TELL PEOPLE YOU REP THE HOOD OR YOU GOT MY BEST INTEREST IN MIND. ALCOHOL ONLY HAS ALCOHOL'S BEST INTEREST IN MIND AND SECONDLY DRUGS SHOULD BE WAY OF THE RADAR? DO YOU THINK OBAMA WOULD SUPPORT YOU? #4. STOP TRYING TO BE SO COOL AND JUST BE YOURSELF #5. KILL YOUR CLICHE'S AND THE CLIQUE. People often group together because I'm from the Bay and so is another artist, or I'm white and so is he or whateva. LEarn to talk to people you never would and branch out. Christianity spread not because believers stayed clicked up but because they took there messages and branched into areas and talked to new people. People they normally would never talk to. Hip hop is about progression. Example. I was locked up with a dude next to my cell. We talked everyday thru the vents and shared our deepest thoughts and feeling and ryhmes with each other. The brother told me he was going to give up pimping and go to do something more powerful but when I saw him on the street he was back in the Pimp Game and on the same track. Years later the messages we talked of started to appear in his life. When I saw him again on the street he did not even give me the time of day. He passed me off to his girls and lackeys and when I came to congradulate him on his passage into music he passed me if I did not exist but behind bars I was his confidant and friend. Hmmm sound familiar. #6. Don't let Ego and Pride Destroy your success. #7. KEEP IT REAL 100%. IF YOU SAY YOUR HERE TO GIVE EVERYBODY LOVE DO IT.. I HEAR THAT A LOT. DON'T PREACH IT GOOD IN THE SUBURBS REP IT HARD IN THE PROJECTS AND PASS IT OUT ON MAIN STREET AS WHOLESOME AND POSITIVE AND THEN GET ON CAMERA AND ACT LIKE SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. I REPRESENT BLACK PEOPLE. I AM A POSITIVE ROLE MODEL. I HAVE BEEN THROUGH IT ALL. I HAVE BEATEN 20YR CASES FROM VIOLENCE TO ROBBERY. BE
OMEGA RAW Speaks On NON-Violence
Nov 9, 2009
SUPPORT NON-VIOLENT ACTIVITY! SUPPORT ANTI-GANG GROUPS! Too many of the younger people such as myself are quick to react violent. In desolant times we see the beast of nature rather then the common sense of humanity. In black communities violence, gangs, sterotypical television jive and white washed undying racism linger into the minds of young impressionable black and white childrens, boy and girls alike. I grew up in the streets of Washington D.C. and Baltimore MD. Two of the most dangerous places to live, work or raise a family. I have used violence many times and I am not proud of the results and impact violence has on my life; and on the lives of those I affected with my violence. I have learned from failed pass behavior that I sharp mind and strong tongue are greater then the sword and the swing of my pen or stoke of my keys can change the world far more then the squeezing of my trigger. =========================== In the Bay Area we have a large amount of gangs and lots of gang violence. We lose as a people everyday that we don't walk away from hurting each other. I am a trained martial artist and I understand that my skills and training are not to go around and take advantage of those who cannot defend themselves. I believe that if each person attempts to think before speaking in any intense confrontation that a non-violent conflict result can take place. ================ Martin Luther King Jr. was a strong believer in no violence and John F. Kennedy was a strong believer in peace. I think the principles of our forefathers should outlive me and you the same way that it did them. I Long To see new bold days in times of dark as we see today. ================= You don't have to use ego, or flex, and you don't have to bury your pride. You have to use pride as a tool to keep yourself safe by excluding yourself from danger and in times with no other choice then you must use your mind and remember unless your a liar and a cheat and a stealer of babies people wont just attack you unless you don't think before you act. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
