I picked up my first guitar when I was around 12. My dad played the bass for the church.. That didn't rub off on me as I was already into hard rock...
I've played off and on since then, but mostly "off" as I never really became proficient at playing.. I play mostly by ear and can pick up the base of most songs pretty quickly.. I just can't seem to play as well..
