I recorded The long Dark Tea Time of the Soul in my bedroom back around 2004. I didn't know how to play any instruments or how to record or master music. I learned as I did.

Sorry I didn't notice your Jan. 29th message until today. I use an iMac as a computer, but I have never used a computer to record multi-track stuff.

Hey, whats up. So your wondering how i get my songs so loud. I would tell you, but then i would be out of work. Just kidding!!!! There isnt really no trick to it, you just have to know what and how to use dynamic range processors. I get my songs to at -0.3db's on the master buss and i make it so that meter does not move more than .03db's up or down(they still most of the time) I dont use any analog gear exept for my sound card and some guitar processors. all my effects and processors are from sonar6 producer, nothing fancy.. if you are interested i offer mastering services, and i give people i know i good deal, next to nothing ($25 a song) anyway thanx for listening to my music and im comming out with a new one in a couple days.
