Sharing in song God's goodness to me through good times and hard times.
My songs vary in style and genre but are almost always about God and/or person(s) relationship with God. My goal is to please the One who is the song-giver; to honour Him in all I write and play. It is my sincere desire that the Lord uses the music I write to draw people closer to Himself. Wherever you are at in relationship to God, may this music touch your heart and be a blessing to you.
These songs are recorded at home (no professional studio). However, I'm hopeful they will give you, the listener, an idea of what the song is about. Go ahead and change the style of a song(s) if you like; have some fun with it, make it yours.
I hope you enjoy these songs. Please respect the copyright and do not sell them.
You may request chord sheets (i.e. lyrics & chord symbols) and lead sheets (i.e. melody, lyrics & chord symbols) be mailed to you using the contact form. For this there is a charge per song plus postage.

Hello from a musician for God

ENOUGH Who doesn't like muffins? Honey-bran are my favourite. And I like mine large. The package says that it makes 24, but my yield is usually 12; twelve good size, large and tasty muffins. As I mixed up the muffins yesterday, I was looking forward to having them around; one serves as a good snack. Instead of using up all of the mix, I filled only 11 muffin cups. I felt that God was directing me to do that and to put the remainder dry mix on the shelf. At first it didn't make sense to me -- what was the point of not making up the whole dozen; I had enough? As I thought on it, I realized it was an object lesson from God: He gives me all I need for life, but sometimes I leave things behind on the shelf. There was enough mix for 12 muffins, but I put some on the shelf and so made only 11 muffins. There are specific things that God pointed out to me when I asked Him what I was leaving behind on the shelf: prayer and Bible-reading. Indeed, my activity in those areas had declined recently as other things had distracted me e.g. my new ipod. Don't get me wrong, nothing bad about using my ipod, but not when I forget to pray and read God's Word. Perhaps there are things that are on the shelf in your life? Things that may have slipped unnoticed in the light of more interesting activities? God has the answers when we ask Him questions and listen for His voice. Don't be shy to ask your heavenly Father, He only wants the best for His children. He gives us more than enough, He gives life abundantly, to all who come to Him in Jesus' name. Now as I eat the honey-bran muffins, I am reminded that God gives me enough; all I need for today. And His enough is sufficient and abundant and even way more than enough. John 10:10 "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (quote: Jesus)
