Hey Dean/Kevin, thanks for the post about your days in NY.
I don't live in Brooklyn now, I was raised in Queens (Astoria). I moved to Brooklyn in my 30's and spent 12 years in Park Slope. I then returned to Queens (Astoria) and married. I currently live a few feet away from the spots I haunted as a teenager. In fact, we just had a reunion from that community after 45 years ... I got to see many friends I last saw as a teenager and they are all in their 60's ... just remarkable.
So I will think of you when I see a tugboat with the big 'M' on it.
I love your music, it is wonderful and I would give anything to have heard it when you were performing live.

Hi Kevin, had a bit of a reunion with the rock band I was in 25 years ago (Que Decree). A week of recording and general mayhem - it happens every 5 or 6 years. If you get a chance, stop by and check out 'Unstable' and 'Not to be played'. Bit of a slide show of the week's recording too. Cheers. - John

Hey Dean,
Sorry to hear about your mom and I know what your going through.
My wife's father passed away a month ago with this terrible illness just shy of his 84th bd. We are taking care of his wife of 65yrs.and it has all but killed her. It hasn't been the same around here for quite awhile now and probally won't be for some time for the healing process to take over. They do have certain drugs that can slow the progress some. My feelings and prayers are with you my friend.

Hello and thank you for looking at my page. I am so glad you found the note about the Alzheimers cd. My dad died recently and had vascular dementia, so although slightly different, still mostly the same symptoms and very upsetting for everyone, and certainly can be very hard to understand. My warmest wishes to you and your family.
The artists on the cd are all on myspace and gave their songs and time freely. I have met a few of them and they are lovely people. Let me know if you would like the links to there as well.
I look forward to listening to your songs this evening.
Very best wishes, Yvie

Hey Kevin,
I'd be happy to have you collaberate on a song with me. I'm working on one now that I believe you'd enjoy.
I'll rush it over to you as soon as I get it down so you can give it a spin to see what you think.

Hi Kevin, thanks for giving my songs a spin, great to hear from you! I've just discovered Cammeron Ave Blues on your page today, I really like that one, a marvelous vibe to it - I've added it to my station. Have a good week.

Dean,
Thanks for the comments on Happy Go Lucky,I just wish I had better recording equipment and knew how to really use it. I like my songs but,it seems like somethings missing or not recorded right.
Thanks again.

Kevin,
I posted one of those songs I had in the fire and I do believe I should have let it burn up. Let me have the feedback on it.

Hey Kevin,
Glad to see and hear the recent songs you added, they were great. I need to get busy myself. I have a couple in the fire but I just haven't been able to get that added instrument I want to hear to finish them up. It'll come to me. Have a great week!

Kevin,
Glad to have you as a friend. I have seen videos of the M50 and it looked and sounded great with all the features. When I purchased the Radius my eyes were bigger then what I actually knew about synth sound building and control. I just wish now that I had purchased another Karma or yamaha keyboard instead. Have fun with your new M50.

Dean,
I forget to give credit to Stephen (jsf) for the acoustic guitar and electric on the melody. I used the Korg Karma for the acoustic rhythm and other instrumentation on Our Time.

Thank you Dean for the comment on Our Time. I had played around and around with this song for awhile and just couldn't get the sound right. I had a fellow musician comment on one of my songs on the Korg forum I had posted. I went to his soundclick page, liked what I heard and asked if he would like to work on a project with me and he agreed time permitting. After a few back and forths Our Time is the final result. You can hear the man who worked with me on soundclick. Just search for jsf (Stephen Foster) you'll enjoy his music also.
Again thank you and become a friend
