Hi Lou--Hope all is well in the great frozen (or soon-to-be) North. I've been hiding away like a mole in the ground, which btw, is the name of a tune I've just recorded & dedicated to my railroading buddies in SCS. Not, of course that any of you kind & gentle dudes would drink anyone's blood...

Interestingly, and you probably figgured this out, Soul Rock Steady is actually a religious song, but not in that way we've all come to associate them, if you take my meaning. Maybe it's more a spiritual song, but yeah, it's got a bit of an attitude - s'OK - God doesn't mind - it makes His day more interesting.

First I must tell you that your sound is awsome and I'm just done ranking all of your tunes with a big HOT! I've been listening to them all, exactly the music I love, I'm downloading them right now!
What you've written about Counsels is so nice, to me as well since I made that slide show/text animation for the song Miami (I am the girl with big glass sunglasses smoking towards the end of it) and the video for Orange (did you see it??).. so thank you for saying you enjoyed!
Of course -as you sure can tell- that's not my job, but it's fun for me to do and a way for learning how to use a video editing program I just bought! Well, anyways, what you wrote is huuuge inspiration for making Washed Away's video: I'll do it with your words in mind and if it's ok for you I'll paste them next to it when it's done.... would you like to send more my mail is sunshinesupergirl@tin.t

We don't play out any longer. We get together every Friday night in my studio to play and record, and party. Getting too old to lug all that equipment around. LOL!!!
As far as Ghost goes, yes you here a Vibraslap as well as a whole host of percussions, including a Gong! That song was a lot of fun to record but a horror to mix. I think I mixed and remixed that song about 30 times.
I try to record everything with a live as possible sound. I also mix with very little compression to preserve the dynamics.
