I write lyrics and collaborate with a variety of different musicians.
When I was a child I used to dance to my grandpas polka music. My parents listened to Barry Manilow and Neil Diamond. I was the youngest of four so as I grew older, I often took to my older brothers music which started with Juice Newton and Kiss then grew into hard rock and heavy metal. I also listened to my big sister's Grease records and Zanadu. The first cassette I ever owned was Quiet Riot. A Christmas present orignally for my big brother. I was the youngest so I got the first pick of what cassette I wanted and I naturally picked the one everyone wanted. My brother was ticked. Later when he came into my room to get his tape he saw me dancing to it. He laughed and told me I could have it. After that I didn't have to sneak into his room to listen to what I wanted. :) I enjoyed listening to all the big hair bands. My first concert was Cinderella. As I grew older my taste in music widened. I currently enjoy a wide variety of different venues. As far as women singers I gravitate toward Carly Simon, Stevie Nicks and Joni Mitchell. I like songs that tell a story or evoke emotion.
