This is my first (successful) attempt at completing a symphony. It's not for huge orchestra (yet). I'll just let the music do the talking. All I'll say is that I used Finale 2007 and Sonar 6 with EWQLSO Silver XP to complete this.

Hello, my name is Luis Martinez, and I'm an amateur composer from Texas. Well, I was born in Guatemala and moved here a while back. I use EWQLSO with Sonar 4 to write my music. I am a sophmore at a Texas highschool and loving it. I hope you enjoy my music.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We would love to play live, but first we need to start an orchestra (which we're in the process of doing), practice, and find places to play.

What equipment do you use?
I use EWQLSO Silver with Sonar 4. And I sometimes use Finale 2006 to help with creating scores.

You can’t see but you’re getting a standing ovation right now. Congratulations on the Summer's Serenade 2nd movement. But once again - too short. This piece (including the 1st) is very relaxing and calming to the soul. Maybe that’s why it seems soo short… I am drawn right in. I would have to categorize these compositions as “beautifully depressing” works of art! And trust me; this is a good thing in my opinion. They both end on a suspense… The next part needs a slightly faster tempo. As far as the melody and harmony, you’ve got that down perfect. I’m babbling here - sorry. Can’t really explain what I’m trying to say. But yeah, compose a 3rd movement. Keep in mind the tempo. You are amazing! Thanks soo much for sharing. With great respect, Roger.
Ameteur, huh? The rest of us better watch out when you turn pro! It sounds like you already know how to score things well for good balance and tone, which is pretty great in of itself. You will be amazed how fast your composing will get better! Your site is definetely one i will be checking back on to see your new stuff. Keep up the good work.

Hello Luis. A Summer's Serenade is very beautiful! I absolutely love the melody. Is this just a sample or all there is of the piece? You must continue the composition. Amazing. I read that you like the part between 51-54secs in your waltz... So do I. I would have added more of that in the song, but then it wouldn't be "simple". I think you're doing a wonderful job. I don’t believe in “amateur“ composing. You obviously have emotion\reason behind your music as well as the talent to write it. You have the ability. Don’t fall short. I wish you the very best in the future. Thanks for being apart of sound click and sharing your music.
