Lighter is a three piece pop/rock band from San Diego, CA. With two CDs under their belt, and two more on the way, Lighter is known in Southern California for fun, high-energy shows and catchy, harmony-driven songs. Lighter is a model indie working band and despite recent line up changes, the band has played over 400 shows in the last 2 years. Besides being an exceptionally polite group of guys, they also have the amazing ability to furiously hop up and down on one leg while yelling, "I can blow mayonaise bubbles out my nose!!!" Billy King also once ate an entire loaf of bread in 5 minutes with nothing to drink (It's really hard...try it for yourself if you don't believe us). Band/artist history
The band Lighter has been around for approximately 4 years. We'll play to anybody who will listen (and some that don't). Like we said, we have two CDs. We are working on two more. One loud one with Sam as the new drummer and one acoustic CD. We just started recording so it will be a little while, but we will post news on the band's website.

We once had a special moment that involved a garden hose, laundry detergent, a spatula, and bit of paprika...but it was a PRIVATE special moment. Come to one of our many shows and have a special moment you can call your own.
