I make all kinds of different styles of beats. From main stream club to sampled out ultra krazy underground hip hop to horror core/acid rap beats to metal influenced beats to even some techno/trance kinda of beats when im just clownin around on the drum machines actin a fool.Your musical influences
Im a Product of the 80s & 90s so you already know...there are so many to name but any HipHop & Rap Legends from those 2 Eras of music has a major influence on me for sure.What equipment do you use?
The tools that I use on a day to day basis are the following--- My good ol' HP 3800 AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core Computer I bought back in 2005. Still hasnt done me wrong yet so no need to upgrade. Protools Digi Rack 002 along with Cubase & a 24 channel mixing board to record on & I usually run all outboard equipment thru a TPS II Art Tube Preamp. (Not a Very Expensive Preamp But It Well Exceeded Any Doubts I Ever Had About Low Costing Preamps ---Cleans Up Any Dull Sounds Very Well). And then thru a Alesis CLX-440 Compressor. I also use a Emu XL-7 Command Station Drum Machine (ALOT) with all the Expansion Roms full of sounds. Have the Composer Rom, theQ Rom aka the Halion Rom, the Beat Garden Rom & also the MoPhatt Rom... Reasons 3.0 Along with Recycle for sampling. I Have Well Over 15 GIGS of My Own Custom Samples I Use As Rex2 Files...(That program is da sh*** if u like chopping up ya own samples!) -I personally sampled all of my outboard sounds & my Triton Extreme among many other outboard equipment into Recycle & use as Rex Files so I can load them in Reason on either the Dr. Rex or in The NNXT as individual instruments- also Zoom Drum machine for real drum sounds. a Yamaha 61 key Keyboard, M Audio Trigger Pads, M Audio Axiom 61 Keystation, 61 key Korg Triton Extreme & a 88 Korg Triton LE, 3 Monitor Screens..."That Helps Out Big Time So U Dont Have 2 Constantly Mouse Click & Switch Back & Forth Between the Mixer & EFX Screens"Anything else?
