Hello Tomorrow

My music is really harmonically based in terms of structure. It's instrumental music that I think would go well in a game or film.

Incurable Incurable

A modern-style piece for traditional instruments: oboe, clarinet, bassoon, piano, and strings. I wish I had real instruments.

Fusion Flight Fusion Flight

A worldly feel of different styles converging - from a new age feel to a fusion of, I guess, whatever culture uses a lot of talking drums.

Home Home

Another traditional-style piece: trio for oboe, bassoon, piano

Drifting Drifting

A more or less dreamy, dark feeling piece. More new age than not, but I don't like calling it new age. Has an modern asian feel, based on the harmonic and melodic structure. But forget the theory when you listen to it.

Unfinished Unfinished

A song increasing in pace. It's kind of cluttered and rough and abrupt, but I don't think I will finish this.

Hey! Chances are you've stumbled upon here randomly, or I gave you a link. Take some time to check out my music. My style is harmonically driven and I write for both classical instrumentation as well as modern (I guess you can say new age) beats and loops. I'm open to writing music for anything. Send me an email if you're interested!
Your musical influences
Koji Kondo, Naoki Sato, Joe Hisaishi, Rachmaninoff, Chopin, for their abilities to evoke strong emotions, often from simplicity. Tchaikovsky, for being cheesy and sounding good at the same time. Prokofiev, for doing weird things that no one else would have. Also whales.
What equipment do you use?
I have a crappy old laptop and a crappy old keyboard and speakers that could be better.
