ETHAND is a Solo-Project, started in 1998.
The music is a mixture of Neo-Folk, Doom, Goth-Rock and Electro.
Early in 1998 I recorded my first Demo Songs "Psychic Balance" and "Jesus is back on earth" with a cheap acoustic guitar and some samples. I started my first Solo Project and called it ATHEND. On the first Demo CD "Reduction to Misery" (1999) the sound was a mixture of distorted guitars and a lot of samples.
Over the year I renamed ATHEND into ETHAND and on the first ETHAND-Demo, "Reduced to Silence" (2000), the sound became heavier with drums and bass.
The first songs that came in a better sound quality you can find on "Chaos O.T.R." (2000), a 5 Track CD with mainly cynical songs.
On the "official" first album, "God sees no tears" (2001), there were many atmospheric songs with acoustic guitars, keyboards and some rock-guitars.
