Late to the party I guess, but better late than never. Love the urban soul groove. Man! I've been getting this vibe lately so this is perfect. Jammin!

So nice to hear from you EG. Thanks for the visit and the cool comments. I got down to business there in the Soundworld but have had to start traveling a bit lately so the music has slowed down. I will be doing a song based on Ahkenaten and Nefertiti's city of El Amarna soon. Stay tuned! All the best to those who keep us safe from the flames!

Merry Christmas EG! Hope you and yours are enjoying the sights and sounds (and smells!) of the holiday season. All the best in 2013 for you and Osirus!

"You make a brother want to run out in traffic?!!" What's up E-Glove? You can't see my face but that line just put a big smile all across that thang! Been away for a while from the music after getting married but have got the new setup in the big house (no! not THAT Big House!) up and blasting and just been having a blast. Hope you are doing well and all the best from the Soundworld. How is Ahkenaton? (just kidding...you know the score!).

Wow great song and a lovely voice mean there is not enough stars for this production. Great job.

Really like what I heard. Vocals are nicely recorded and the performance is beautiful to listen to. Overall production is clear and crisp - nice work. Piano is a great accompaniment to this and the strings give it "air". Good job!

Thanks, Arlen. The guitar is one of the programs from Osiris (my Oasys). In fact I did all the production on it. I'm still learning it- it's a great workstation.

Immediately put me in the mindset of Trinitee 5:7. :) Great vocals and the beat is slammin man! Great bassline and the clav (your signature) is a cool mid piece. Hook vocals are really nice. Thought her verse vocals were a little too "alone" at times (only thing I could think of - sorry)... Overall, a definite slammin song! Love it!

E, You've got a cool little neo soul thang going on here. :) Love your drum beat and how it sits just under the singing. Makes it feel like she's "riding" the beat. Message is clear and concise. Production is also clear and strong. Love it all the way around.

The vocals are beautiful and her voice is really nice. Would LOVE to hear where you take the final vocal version of this. And YES! The musical interlude that you go into at the end is striking! Beautiful change and great vamp that rides it way through you. I found myself bobbin and weavin. LOL :) Great stuff man, keep it comin! edit: and I stand by every word to this day!!! (08/07)

This is beautiful! With the southern styled singin and the (is that a Roland Guitar patch???) guitar and piano doing the solo work, you've got a real winner here. The pizz strings have a sweet bounce to them and really accentuate what's going on without overkill. Love your stuff man!

Your piano is captivating. It strings me along with the story line allowing me to "see in". The bass/guitar rhythm are thick and easy to follow. If I were to add anything to this beautiful piece, it would be that it needs a little "space". As solid as the production is, I think it would REALLY push it over the top. Nonetheless, it's a beautiful piece worth many listens. Congrats on a fine effort. :)

Song: By Faith
Reminds me of some old jazz singer (Sherrie Brown). Beautiful voice and a really good job of "keeping it simple" so that she could do "her thang". Love the drop bass that gives a solid foundation along with the laid back drum line. Definitely adding to my vocal station. :)

I like this! Beautiful vocal arrangement and the right amount of every little thing to make this a beautiful song to just sit back and realize "He loves YOU!!!". Well done.

Arlen, thanks for the compliments. I was principal tambourine player in my high school marching band, so I just had to put it in there! I hear you regarding the strings. Sometimes I try so hard to get a good balance when using higher registers (because the strings can be overpowering), that I tend to drop them too low in the mix. I'll work on it. Thanks. E

Sweet rays of sunshine here. Smooth and soothing with a Island-ish groove. I love your piano layouts which are the icing to cool rhythms and changes throughout. Tambourine is a nice add. ;-) Only thing I would do different is turn up the strings, but that's just me. Overall a great listen!
