Ephemerid produces lush, hypnotic electronic music.
The Ephemerid sound is atmospheric and other-worldly with sounds from all over the globe and beyond. It is tribal and exotic, at times ethereal, sometimes eerie. Very dreamy & relaxing - the rhythms have a soothing quality, yet are energizing enough to give a boost rather than a nudge into sleep. The warm, melodic highlights seem constantly to be on the move like reflections on water revealing immense dark shadows and hidden depths.
Based in the UK, Ephemerid was formed in April 1999. The debut album Icarus Wings was written between April 1999 and June 2000. The follow-up Sleeper On The Sea - between June 2000 and April 2002.
Lost In Dust' was completed in December 2003.
Ephemerid music is presently fully independent and all tracks can be purchased here or from the official Ephemerid Bandcamp page.
New music is currently in production.
