Educational Medicine was a two-man MIDI-Classic Rock act playing both originals and covers to local tavern patrons. They have been around the Western NY area for over 15 years. The band was comprised of David Ruslander and Bob Ventola.
Dave plays Harmonica; Bob plays MIDI Guitar, to MIDI sequences using wireless equipment. (That means that you usually found them in the crowd while playing)
We use to play taverns, parties, weddings...anyplace with electricity and a love for classic rock.
Blues tones are underlying in our music. (harmonica go figure...)We like Seger, Clapton, Skynyrd and so much more... As long as the music rocks...
Let's see...Cakewalk DOS running on a 486 dx laptop for midi through a Roland sc-88, harmonica through a Zoom DSP, guitars through an ART sgx 2000, vocals through DBX266 compresser gate then a Digitech vocalist (for harmonies)into an ART Fx elite (for reverbs and delays). All into a Mackie board to a Yahmaha PA with Sure wireless monitors.
Take a listen to the originals from our "home brew" studio.. let us know what you think on the message board...
