What it do?? This is ya boy DUBBLE! If you didn't know, I am one of the hardest working artist/songwriters in the South East. Coming from Augusta, GA I have won awards, been in magazines, newspapers, on the radio and have done several shows! I plan to keep working until someone takes notice to make me my sound heard by the masses. And even then I will continue to work HARDER! You may have heard him on Georgia Southern University's WVGS 91.9 The Buzz or Augusta, GA's WPRW Power 107 with DJ Kydd Joe of and 103 Jamz the Fox with DJ Slytay. He has been cosigned by many, such as mixtape heavy weights DJ Spinz and DJ Smallz. He has also been awarded for being the best new artist in the CSRA (Central Savannah River Area). What is his name? Dubble A, born Brennan Jamaal Francois on March 31, 1989 is a universal rap artist/song writer from Augusta, GA. He was born in Dayton, Ohio and moved to the south at the age of four. This is where Dubble A fell in love with music. Now he is the CEO/cofounder of PCP Entertainment, which was awarded for being the Indie Label of the Year in the Central Savannah River Area. From performing in his city of Augusta to surrounding areas such as Savannah, Statesboro, and Atlanta, Dubble A has gained many fans and support. A number of his songs have gained considerable play on local radio stations such as "On My Mind", "AUG Celebrity" and "For Me". Dubble A received even more support when he created an online dance contest for his song "AUG Celebrity", which caused several people to record videos of themselves dancing to his record. This artist is also known for his famous topic, started on youtube, "Why Augusta Is Not On." There have been many answers to this question, but Dubble A has promised to overcome all obstacles to succeed in the music industry. His buzz continues to grow from the distribution of CDs in the streets, to spins by various DJs, to online promotion. He believes that by keeping God first and working hard he will soon be greatly recognized for his talent and universal sound.
Dubble A began writing at the young age of nine. From first writing poems and then turning them into songs, he quickly began to express his lyrical talent. Up through middle school he began to freestyle and battle. He always crushed his opponents and this gained respect from his peers. He also would leave freestyles on his answering machine for anyone who called him to hear. This continued through high school where Dubble A began to make several mixtapes using different instrumentals from major artists. From this he gained the attention of his peers at his high school, A.R. Johnson, and became known as a local rapper in his city. He continued to make these mixtapes up through college.
Georgia Southern University is where Dubble A found that music was definitely a career he would dedicate his life to and started recording original material. There he met several people who produced some of the songs that he has out today, such as the universal hit "On My Mind." Dubble A continued to record more and more songs and promoted them through online resources (such as Facebook, Myspace, Youtube,etc), CD distribution, and shows around Georgia. This caused him to have a growing fan base all over the state.
Dubble A continues to work hard and gain the attention of magazines, newspapers, DJs, marketing companies, and the rest of the world. He has been featured on several mixtapes with major artists such as Yung LA, Yung Joc, Twista and more. When I started listening to hip hop music the first person that really caught my attention was Ludacris. I just really loved his style and also his business sense. What really makes me different from other rap artists is that I am also highly influenced by Pop stars such as Flo Rida, Nsync, and Eiffel 65.What equipment do you use?
