Name: Jason T. Newman.
Age: 32.
Lifestyle: Married, with a 3yr old Daughter. Hermit at weekends.
I have finally settled on making music with the PC.
This has given far more freedom than a 15 piece drum kit could ever afford me.
Musical Background: Having been in a Thrash Metal Band in the late 80's, playing drums, and having been introduced to (and been influenced) by the likes of Led Zeppelin, Utopia, Meat Loaf (I remember Bat Out Of Hell being released. Jesus, I must be getting old), Yes, Kiss, Pink Floyd, through to Metallica, Faith No More, Anthrax, Candlemass, Sabbat, Acid Reign to Sisters Of Mercy and Type O Negative amongst many other bands during my formative years (from 6 to now).
Not much (PC, freeware, MIDI keyboard and cheap programs), but the results are frankly stunning. :D
Goals: Music and my family are my main passions in life and the creation of music
as cheaply and to the best of my abilities is my goal.
