Charles: Just a note to let you know how much I dug my trip thru "Mississippi Troubadour" country tonight. I especially liked your take on "Michigan" -- so much so, in fact, that I immediately added it to one of my SC stations, for personal reference and reflection.
Okay, so maybe I don't know what it's ABOUT -- aside from the obvious: a beautiful blur of impressionistic imagery that dances by, on a melody that's as soft as silk and fragile as a flower.
Still, I DO know what it IS: It's a hell of a fine song. And I'm glad to have a chance to give credit where it's due, with interest.
Keep 'em coming, CDS. And I'll keep coming back!

Hi there, Charles!
Thanks for visiting my page, sorry it's taken me a couple of days to get back to you. Always forget to look on message board. See Wade Farlowe is a friend - great guy, great sound!
And so are you. Been listening to some of your songs - Rainy Day and the Last One are great solo acoustic tracks with great guitar playing and the band sound on Fresh Breeze is brilliant. Added this last song to my station to bookmark you page with the comment:
"Charles has a great, emotive rustic voice and great songs. " Would have put more but that's all you can get in the line space they give you. Will be back to listen to more songs. If you have a MySpace page - and you should! - please send me a Friend request to: www.myspace.com/kelvinmacgregor
Good luck with your album!
Kelvin

Hi Charles, I just got my broadband
connection back and got a chance
to listen to some of your songs. I
think Milkman's Baby is hilarious!
My favorite so far is "I'm Falling",
very sharp, intelligent lyric
with a cool jazzy delivery...I would
have loved to hear a dobro or
slide in the breaks to accent it's
traditional feel..good song!
Have a great new year and good
luck with your music.

To Peace Wilson
I am highly shocked at these tactics. Who cares and why are you messaging people?
Is it possible some listeners like one band over another? Be careful where you lay blame Paxx5 a.k.a. Peace Wilson. If a person posted a positive comment in one bands screen and a negative one in yours, that makes that band guilty? I saw them perform in Santa Monica in 2005 and they were really good. They have rowdy fans and maybe one is joking on you, but I think the band has better sh*** to do then hang out and mess with an old timer like you. Reading your message on my friend’s comment section made me feel sad for you.
I am bored and checking out a few of my friends songs from myspace, what is your excuse?

Hi Charles..thanks for visiting my
site. I like what I've heard on your
site so far...some very fine vocals
and guitar work. "Michigan" is nice
and i dig the panning FX on
"Do what you do"...cool stuff.
Good luck with your music!

Charles, Woody Guthrie would say "This machine kills Fascist" on his double o Gibson. He would also be out in the street disrupting the status quo. I am sure that he would have been in the front of the line in the Occupy Wall Street Movement. Thanks for reminding us of Woody's message. Lew Dawg Cloninger, MrHillbilly49, The Stray Dawgs
