I like all sorts of music, and derive ideas from everything. But if I were to name drop: Jay-Z, Dre, Teddy Pendergrass, Doobie Bros, Peter Tosh, Timberland, Eric B and Rakim, and mostly artists from the soul era..... so many to do any of them justice.
What equipment do you use?
Roland rack mounts, Yamaha Keyboards, software Plug-ins, Yamaha mixers, MPC-2000XXL, Ableton, Cubase on and on and it don't stop!
