Have you performed in front of an audience?I haven't yet. If I could get another acoustic guitarist to play lead with me and someone to play some percussion, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
Your musical influences
Since I heard their 'Insomniac Remix' on the Godzilla soundtrack, I've been in love with Green Day. They have a unique sound to them that I can never get enough of. I've always tried to incorporate some of what they do into my music. Whether it comes out sounding like them or not is a whole other story. Besides them, for acoustic, I'd have to say that Bob Dylan and Jack Johnson have both influenced me a great deal. Bob Dyaln more so a year or two ago. Since then I've really become interested in more of a slow-tempo acoustic sound. I think Jack Johnson has really influenced me there.What equipment do you use?
I use a Martin 000x1 acoustic guitar and a Lee Oskar Melody Maker harmonica tuned to G.Contact

howdy, man. i hope youre ready for some constructive criticism. youve got some good ideas and talent so hopefully this will help. really, im just hear to help.
slippin away: its a good idea but you need to expound on it. maybe take out a few 'slippin away's and add some more verses. theres certainly more things you can say about how society isnt as nice that doesnt have to do with getting mugged. i like the numerous 'ohs', though.
coffeeshop: i like as is.
happy birthday: i like that, too.
GW entry: the basic rhythm and melody is good. maybe you could add some length to it and stick some words on there. or not. its good as is, but you could make a song proper from it, too. its your call.
eruption: fun, but hearing it once is enough.
happy b-day rabid: i think if you could add this "track" to your other b-day song, it would add some depth. but this alone......uh, yeah.
18 angry goths: get rid of the intro and this song gets 100x better. seriously impressed here.
