Bill Ely Band
Recorded for crush I think, began as a warm up song for acoustic venues.
I recorded this rehearsal of Give it Away just for the fun of it. Norberts amp was not mic'd Casey Waters on bass and singing back up. We also had Parker Turpin guesting playing upright bass.
just me and the flattop recorded to the pc circa 1997
The Pre-production mix of the album version of this song. That means perhaps some backing vocals and some kind of percussion may be added. A simple love song but also a "life" song. Do let us know what you think !!!
recorded by Clarence Creekwater on bass and myself. Recorded in the wee hours of the morning during an all night session. don't remember where everyone was, Mr C was so drunk he couldn't stand up. I was quite "inspired".
The actual acoustic demo for the "album" version that appears on the CD "CRUSH"
An acoustic demo recorded at Cherry Ave. Studio in 1998. Written with our first cd in mind, it didn't make it that far. It was added to the Retro Spec cd. It would have been too complicated of an arrangement for what we were doing for that CD.
the flattop and me as a demo for the first BEB cd. My producer at the time pushed us to not use it, mainly because I could not afford to give it the time and arrangement I thought it deserved.
From our very first BEB release "Never Let Go" Bill shot out of the gate with songs that would push the boundries of genre, each song different the the last each tune a work of art in its self
recorded by Chad Smith on bass and myself as a demo for the first BEB cd.
