Bill Ely Band
A cool little tune that is widely considered as a BEB signature song. From the "Go Between" cd. Ken Denny on Keyboards, Chuck Gore playing lead guitar, Clarence Creekwater on Bass, Al Fair on Drums and myself on vocals and acoustic guitar.
about as southern rock as I get. One of our best song and one of the locals most favorite !! A Rocking tune that is all BEB, twangy but cool, kid of a throw back to old school but stills hits the mark !!!
Bass guitar : Kris Sjoberg. Drums : Al Fair. Vocals and guitars: Bill Ely. Lead guitar by Thomas Wright.
A live studio take and I think we were turning out so many songs at the time I never had the time/chance to go back and finish it. not even sure where the master is.
While going through another pile of disk, I happened across this unreleased, unedited mix of " I Want To Know(How You Feel) Pretty much like the album version but with several seconds of music at the end. Al Fair, Casey Waters, Norbert Radtke and me
An awesome acoustic demo of Too Late 4 Love. Recorded a year or so before we recorded the album version. A cool note: check out the acoustic feedback around 25 seconds into the song!! I love all the vocals !
recorded by Clarence Creekwater on bass and myself. Recorded in the wee hours of the morning during an all night session. don't remember where everyone was, Mr C was so drunk he couldn't stand up. I was quite "inspired".
Not a happy song, poor guy still loves her although coming clean a bit too late about his feelings, add to that how little he really understands about who/what caused his current pain.
An acoustic demo recorded at Cherry Ave. Studio in 1998. Written with our first cd in mind, it didn't make it that far. It was added to the Retro Spec cd. It would have been too complicated of an arrangement for what we were doing for that CD.
the flattop and me as a demo for the first BEB cd. My producer at the time pushed us to not use it, mainly because I could not afford to give it the time and arrangement I thought it deserved.
One of My favorite songs from our first cd. So far the only song Ive ever played harmonica on.
recorded by Chad Smith on bass and myself as a demo for the first BEB cd.
