Jimi Sweeney
Did something different: No lyrics, started with me improvising a synth riff with my Mini Moog app. Then added bass guitar, loud, fusion-like drums, 3 different guitar tracks, doing weird stuff, then a Mellotron choir. Yep, pretty weird...
Based on a MiniMoog track I recorded. With some Wah Wah guitar and some ambient guitar. Deep bass and busy drums with a little subtlety. And my voice of doom over all of it
Pretty heavy with various guitars, bass, thumping drums and my voice of doom.
A love of shoegaze, Cohen, down-tuned guitars and Mellotron led to this song. My voice of doom hovering over the whole affair. Lyrics based on my real life events.
3 guitars intertwining with a deep bass & drums in synch. My voice of doom hovering over all of it.
Guitars with lots of atmospheric sustain, Deep bass guitar, some Mellotron and purposeful percussion. My voice of doom. Happy 4th
Sequenced synths, a little Mellotron, wobbly bass, loud drums, distorted guitars and my mantra-like vocals. Fripp/Eno meets Pink Floyd.
Experimental track with 4 different guitars battling a synth bass melodic line and a campy sounding synth. No percussion and sampled chorus. No vocals per se. Odd song.
Proggy fusion song with some eerie cellos, acoustic guitar in sections, my droning voice speaking, deep bass and my weird, Fripp-type guitar work. Closest thing I've done with a big jazz influence and a decided Steven Wilson influence.
Starts out with synth and weird guitar, goes into progressive doom metal, then acoustic guitar bridges. Some super distorted leads, rubbery bass, fusion drumming with influence by Bill Ward of Black Sabbath. spoken word in and out of the mix.
Ambient, psychedelic, metallic experimental instrumental with careening bass, swirling leads, weird rhythm guitar with an old school D404A drums machine app.
Weird trip hop drums, 3 different guitars battling it out, odd, pulsing synth, spoken word.
Krautrock, Captain Beefheart & heavy King Crimson. Lots of tight riffs & deep bass & fusion drums. My spoken word vocals: very Captain Beefheart influenced.
Progressive rock with a little metal thrown in, no synths used, all instrumental. Guitars trading riffs & leads, a odd sounding bass guitar & my usual fusion/ jazz drumming.
Sat in my bedroom with a tiny amp & using my bedroom stereo as monitors, recorded a guitar fest with fusion drums & a mellow start & finish with forest & stream sounds. Be care with those meds folks!
A combination of Swans & the more weird Fripp-like guitar. No percussion, all guitars & bass. Strange ambient, drone.
