Jimi Sweeney
3 different improvisations combined over one, lots of synthesizer tracks, all recorded over the last few months.
Got bored and recorded more synths in my Synthetic Nights series. Also added odd percussion too.
Got out my synths, and found my Mellotron, Mini Moog and GarageBand apps and my MIDI controller for keyboard and had fun.
Got out my synth apps from Electro-Harmonix and Mini Moog, then added percussion, bass and guitar. Really warped everything.
Eerie synth, loud drums and atmospheric guitars, throbbing bass and also my voice of doom.
Based on a MiniMoog track I recorded. With some Wah Wah guitar and some ambient guitar. Deep bass and busy drums with a little subtlety. And my voice of doom over all of it
Pretty heavy with various guitars, bass, thumping drums and my voice of doom.
A love of shoegaze, Cohen, down-tuned guitars and Mellotron led to this song. My voice of doom hovering over the whole affair. Lyrics based on my real life events.
Neurosis-inspired song. Deep, tribal drumming, with gongs, some distorted rhythm guitar, some added guitar, a couple of synths, down tuned bass. I used a lyric/poem I wrote, 25 years ago, for lyrics. My voice of doom on vocals!
Droning guitars, fluid bass, bongos and drums, Mellotron and synths. And me singing
3 heavily distorted guitars intertwined. Throbbing bass. pounding drums, weird synths and my slightly echoed vocals. Droning, progressive rock/metal.
Tried out my new Electro-Harmonix synth, added with 3 guitars in harmony, a deep bass, some drums, and also a little synth rom another source. Straight vocals.
Sequenced synths, a little Mellotron, wobbly bass, loud drums, distorted guitars and my mantra-like vocals. Fripp/Eno meets Pink Floyd.
Dark progressive, with drone. Some high sustain lead guitar, fretless bass, congas & drums. Clean vocals.
All guitars and a little wobbly melodic bass. Pretty much what the title says: a collage of guitars. Good headphone stuff! Here is a remix of it, re EQed a few things and changed the mix.
Atmospheric guitars, sparse percussion, resonant bass, and echoing spoken word all in an experimental, progressive soundscape.
4 Psychedelic guitars, 2 basses droning: weaving a tapestry of the destruction of the earth by mankind. No percussion nor lyrics. Close your eyes & leave the planet!
Progressive rock with a little metal thrown in, no synths used, all instrumental. Guitars trading riffs & leads, a odd sounding bass guitar & my usual fusion/ jazz drumming.
Sat in my bedroom with a tiny amp & using my bedroom stereo as monitors, recorded a guitar fest with fusion drums & a mellow start & finish with forest & stream sounds. Be care with those meds folks!
Mantra-like vocals over a collage of guitars & bass. No percussion.
