Bahamian Frank Carroll played authentic rake'n'scrape guitar on Steel Away! as well as other JRobert projects. The “Reggae Ambassador” has worked closely with Bob Marley, recorded with the Wailers, and has toured internationally. Frank now performs nightly at Marriott’s Quinn’s on the Beach on Marco Island.
“Jamaica Dave” Walker was born and raised in Jamaica before coming to Florida and has now recorded two projects with JRobert.
Steven Gomes on drums and Steinberger bassist Alex Antonelli recorded the first tracks with J.Robert. Alex has recorded on Blue Water Cruise, Blue Water , Christmas, and has performed with J.Robert on hundreds of corporate and private performances. Steve and Alex have also played extensively with the bands Powerhouse and Hot Topic.
“Little Mama” Janet Poole, a former Miss Collier County, America’s Miss Charm, and Swamp Buggy Festival talent contest winner now mother of three, is the featured vocalist on Steel Away!
"Tony P" Pastrana has played latin percussion with such greats as Tito Puente, Charlie Palmieri, Joe Quijano, and Pancho Sanchez, just to name a few. Tony now performs weekends at the Naples Ritz Carlton.
“DL” Turner helped produce, mix, and sweeten the tracks of Steel Away! with his celestial harp. D.L. has an impressive resume as a master sound engineer and producer, including sound and stage production for Crosby, Stills and Nash, The Rippingtons, John Denver, and jazz-great Earl Klugh.Have you performed in front of an audience?Resorts, corporate, wedding, and public charity events in SW Florida.
