The Rap World As You Know Is About To Be Turned On It's Head. Toss out all of your stereotypes of the average rapper, because this is talent at it's finest. Born Andre Allen Jr. on August 26, 1987, Yay-High began music at an early age. From writing poetry, short stories, and even keeping journal entries of his everyday life, it's no secret that Yay-High has been blessed with the ability to write. Being mentored by his older sister and younger siblings, Yay-High began turning poetry into music at the age of 11. Hailing from the hard streets of Brooklyn, New York, Yay-High has endured the harsh life, and knows what it means to struggle. Moving to B-more, Yay-High met up with fellow artist HosTile and ManeTane. Throughout his journey discovering B-more, Yay used his surroundings to continue perfecting his flow. He writes Street anthems, Club bangers, Love Songs, X-rated Songs, Dance songs, and so much more. Yay-High perfects his songwriting, by observing what people listen to on the radio and what people listen to in general. When Yay-High is not writing, he studies street dancing, which also explains why he has the ability to write a successful dance song or club track. Yay-High is currently signed on Street Life Ent. He is hard at work on his solo LP "Skulls and Roses" coming late 07. His song "Timbs" has been dubbed a favorite to myspace listeners. He may be 5 foot 3, but he stands tall in the rap game. The Rockstar of Rap is here.
