This Poetic Musician born and raised in Phoenix has been sighted as completely original. With a haunting, melodic vocal style and seductive lyrics, she can take her guitar and rock you gently into her dreamworld of high-powered imagery. Bowie, Bjork, Velvet Underground, Orbison, Pixies and Portishead are her influences to name a few.
At the beginning of the new millennia, working alongside a man named Doug Gibson, I developed a taste for playing Classical-style guitar with cello accompaniment (courtesy of his good friend, Joel). Following this, my attention shifted to electric guitar as I had recently acquired a Charvel from co-music-conspirator and bass player, Jim McKay. I went on to play in Minnesota for a stint with full-time cello backup via Jonas Dubin (as recorded by our buddy, Hazzy, with Playground Productions). Soon after, I began to play and record with another Phoenix-based artist whose forte was Electronica and Classical piano (i.e. Manicrepercussions). Further expanding my experience in the studio, I joined guitarist, Jason Messer, for an artistic collaboration (by way of Twangman Productions), and learned several covers while performing out with him. Currently, I have been playing with and recording in the studio of Scott Worstell, who plays a Flamenco-style, thin-body guitar in almost every genre (Scionblue Productions).
