SONIC began when Tony witnessed Nina demolish the competition at their high school talent shows. They began writing songs together with the focus being on Nina’s voice. The duo then searched for a drummer and ran into Flavio while he was teaching a drum clinic at a local music store. His performance came to a dramatic end when he fell off his drum stool and took the entire drum set down with him! It was at that moment that Nina and Tony knew they found the final piece to complete SONIC.Have you performed in front of an audience?SONIC is best experienced live. On stage is where we shine. Our best gigs have been playing to 21,000 people in Toronto's Molson Amphitheatre on World Youth Day in July 2002 and then to a televised audience in the millions on the famed Ariston Theatre stage in Sanremo, Italy in November 2002.

True to our name, SONIC is most influenced by anything that sounds good. You will hear rocking guitars mixed with acoustic guitars on top of drum loops over real drums underneath a powerful, diva-like voice. One magazine described SONIC as The Corrs meets the Foo Fighters at the house of Prodigy.What equipment do you use?
