Hi Ricky, I came across you and your musicpage from a friend here, really enjoyed this song. I had to hit up a song and listen to you, after reading you were influenced by so many acoustic guys I love...John Prine, John Denver, Neil Young. You have an awesome voice, very easy on the ears. Thanks for sharing your music with us here, take care and keep on keepin' on! ~strummergurl~

Hi Ricky, I was very impressed when I heard your music, you have such a wonderful voice...and I love the style, the guitar adds the feeling that makes the song complete...you don't need too many instruments to make the music any better, because you can carry the song with your voice alone...very very nicely done!!! Not many artists have that talent.... I lived in California for a while so...nice lyrics..... All the best to you, Love from Shannah

Hey, Ricky! Go for it. Hwy 98 sounds like a winner. Tell them I said to adopt it as the official song. That oughta do it. Where and when is the next show? Michael Z at the old Toyota store.

To the Madison County BOC and the Georgia DOT -- Please adopt the song Highway 98 as the official song for Hwy 98. Ricky has already composed a song which was named as the official song of his hometown in Commerce, Georgia. This demonstrates how much Ricky is supported and loved by his hometown. T. Graham Brown made his hometown proud with his song, "RFD 30529"...allow Ricky to do it all over again with Highway 98!! Tara Childs

Hi Ricky - here's a message to the Madison County BOC and the Georgia DOT. Please name Highway 98 as the official song of your road. It shows class, soul and your support for some homegrown talent. All the best Ricky and lookforward to hearing the new stuff. Cliff

Hey Ricky! Just thought I'd let you know we haven't forgotten about ya...we were beginning to think you'd forgotten about us!! With all that time off you took, where were we supposed to party??? I'm glad to see you'll be back at Spaar's in January. We'll try to make it to Jefferson before that. Hope all is well, and I'm still pissed that you haven't posted by brilliantly designed montage of the "Official Ricky Fitzpatrick" fan club!!! hehe Maybe I should print it, put it in a frame, and make you hand it up!! As always, best wishes and Merry Christmas! Give our love to Shawanna, Cameron, and Caleb!!

Hey Ricky! We really enjoyed you at Spaar's Saturday night. It was amazing to me that you had so much new material!!! As usual, you were great! By the way, I loved the one about Georgia kicking Alabama's ASS!!! hehe It looks like things are finally working out and you are getting tons of publicity. When I wear my "Ricky Fitzpatrick" t-shirt, people stop me and they recognize the name! You have a wonderful support team, so best wishes on your continued success!

Hi Ricky Sorry I've been out of touch. I was going to e-mail you when it occurred to me that I should sing your praises on this message board instead. I have been following your progress via your website and e-mails and nothing makes me happier than to see things going well for you. You deserve it more than almost anyone I know. You have certainly earned it. You are very talented. I was thrilled to actually hear Green in LA since I had read the lyrics some time ago. It goes without saying that it is my personal favorite. Things are great in Cali! Wishing you continued success! Melanie

Just wanted to let everyone know that you can visit the web site (www.soundclick.com/rickyfitzpatrick) and hear a 1 1/2 minute sample of the new song "Green In L.A." that we recorded Thursday with Glenn Matullo. This will be going to local Country Radio starting mid-September. Start calling and requesting it at your favorite Country Radio stations. Call or email me if you need numbers! I AM PUMPED!!! Working with Glenn was a dream come true...totally pro...super nice guy...and I felt like a star the whole time I was there. What a great group of people! Pictures of the day will be coming next week...gold and platinum records on the wall...autographed pictures of stars everywhere...it was wonderful! I got the chance to use the best equipment I've ever seen. God, the microphone was incredible! And thanks to Alan Kelly at Krazy Al's Megamusic in Commerce for the use of the beautiful sounding Fender F-35 for the session!!! Al, I'm getting attached to this guitar! Also, don't
