Hi Charley,
I just found your page, and listened to your beautiful Angels Among Us. Funny thing is, I had just been thinking of the first time I had ever seen the Alabama video of that song.
Alabama lead singer Randy Owen had shaved off his beard at the time the video was shot, and had his thick black mustache and his hair combed back. So here he is singing this beautiful song about angels, and looking like a young Joseph Stalin! Considering the things Stalin did in his lifetime, the effect was hilarious.

We had a nice Thanksgiving thank you, and I hope yours was very nice too.
About places to sing in the Chicago suburbs.. hhmmm.. I'm gonna be totally honest with ya.. LOL! I don't get out much, so I'm sure there are a lot of places that I don't know about. I'm not sureif you are looking for places that have Kareoke or that hire live acts to perform? However, if you are looking for a place that has Kareoke (spelling?) nights.. I do know of one.. it's called Mickadoon's in Orland Park, IL. on 159th Street, (708)532-6707 (How's for free advertising? LOL!) you'd have to find out which nights they have it though, and who knows, they may be able to tell you other places in the area that have it too, and if you go there, the people there could tell you other places I'm sure. I looked in the yellow pages under Bars and Taverns, to see if I could find an add for someother places for ya, but none of them say whether they have Kareoke or not. I know that Fat Sam's, in Or
