Have you performed in front of an audience?
I have played live before, never at like an event tho. (except when i was in a rap battle tournment in London, Ontario at "The Drink" niteclub, in which i came in 3rd place). Mostly parties and such, on the corner freestylin and shit. I love spitting live, its like nothing else on this planet...the rush of performing infront of people you dont even know and them luving you for it. its simply awesome.
Your musical influences
My biggest musical influence has gotta be Tupac Shakur, the man was a genius on and off the mic. His motivation and determination of passing on his message was second to nobody. I really feel that he embodied hip-hop in every aspect there is to embody. My other musical influences are Brandon Fuller, my manager/producer, which is amazing at what he does in the studio. I just recently hooked up with him but its like he's been there with me since day one, a real good musical and buisness partner (in crime)!
What equipment do you use?
The studio I work in consists of alot of shit. First being the Mac computer which is great for audio recording. On the Mac were using Pro Tools to record, sequence, master, produce instrumentals etc. Pro Tools is hands down the best software for digital recording. Third we have an 8-channel Behringer Euro-Track Studio Mixer with 1 Apex Studio Condenser Microphone and 1 CAD Studio Condenser Microphone (along with pop filters and crap). We also have a Yamaha Digital Keyboard for creating our instrumentals (the thing is amazing, so many sound kits) alongside with electric and acoustic guitars, bass guitar, live drum set and other various instruments. We've also got a drum machine for creating different drum patterns. The booth consists of the 1 mic (or both when needed for a certain sound) and alot of foam egg-carton looking sheets to make it virtually soundproof. I think thats about it.
Anything else?
