We are Nongrata, out of Little Rock, Arkansas. We are a combination of Prog, Death, and Traditional (old school) stylings of metal music. We feel that musical expression is powerful and personal, and that with the proper balance of technical skill and spirit, great music is created.Band/artist history
Rocke, and Jamie (old bassist) began this project in mid 2002 and then it was just them for nine months or so. I (chris K.) had known Rocke for years...we got together at a party one time and discussed the option of playing together...I called him up and met with him at work and then the next day met for practice at his house...the same day Jamie had made contact with Ryan and he came that same day...after that we were a band and commenced to practice every weekend twice...In November of 2003 Jamie felt it necessary to move on...he quit and played his last show with us on November 30th of last year...then in March of 2004 our good friend Steven joined in on bass from then on we have played together since...Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes, we play at the three main local venues in Little Rock. Juanitas, Vino's and Downtown Music and Records are three great venues that cater to the music and spirit of the scene here...
