Hey, I read your Interview writeup and we have a frighteningly similar sense of humor. We even use the same jokes. And we're dabbling in the same genre, though there's no way I can play keys like that. I don't think. Listened to StormSong, I found it very reminiscent of Rainbow, minus the guitar. Enjoyed it very much. I wish you great good luck.

I think I've heard this song before, but I can't remember where - is there supposed to be some wind and thunder in the song?
When I listen to this I feel very sad, but I want to hear it again all the same

Stormsong is an excellent demo. Very moody and sorrowful. It screams out for mellotron strings and choir. I look forward to hearing the full band version. I wish I could play piano as well as Tosh does! Excellent MIDI programming BTW.

Hi all (Tosh)
Listening to STORMSONG...

Fine production and arrangements gentlemen - progressive music indeed. I respect the keyboard, percussion and guitar work. I reflect Dun's comment about Focus. I can hear a touch of ELP influence there too. As I listen on, I can hear a Mahavishnu strain too! However, the whole blend has its own character. Well done.

The pub is never far from my thoughts! But on my current weight-loss/excercise program, beer is right out :(
Glad to see some traffic coming in from PE and RMP. Keep progging' and get some more tunes up here soon [nods] :)

thanx, Dun! well of course the pub is the first thought I have then the music is second (just kidding). We're working on adding more material - glad you liked what is posted so far!
I'm listening to Russian Doll right now
verrryy c-o-o-l I was raised on Maynard Furgueson, Dave Brubeck, and Leonard Bernstein - I always dig that Jazzy brass and reed sound!

Nice!! I heard something about a prog party happening over here. How many times do you turn up and think...let's find a pub instead! Well, not this time, very accomplished musicianship and the kind of sounds I can listen to all night! A little reminiscent of great bands like Focus and Soft Machine which is fine by me!
Very nice work, Dun.

OK. I didn't care much for the AOR-ish tune with vox ("Find Reality"). But the other two ("BMXpress" and "Carousel") have a lot to offer. I'd like to hear more in that vein, or even stretching further into fusion.

OK. We're propping you on the Progressive Ears www.progressiveears.com and RMP rec.music.progressive on usenet forums. I'll send the folks at PRC Prog Rock Collectors forum http://prc.techmapro.com/ some blurb today. Hope that gets some action going. Also, since I see that Nigel has been here, I've told a few other soundclickers about you. HTH.
