About the Blue Voodoo Kelly Stodola*Ted Tosoff.*Rick Dalgarno*Gerry Berg Since 2000, The BlueVooDoo have played their brand of blues-rock at just about every possible venue in Western Canada and Europe. They have received award nominations from the Toronto Maple Blues Awards in 2003 for Best New Artist and also received a nomination for Most Outstanding Blues CD at the 2005 Western Canadian Music Awards. The Blue Voodoo look to add to their booty of nominations with their newest “Back to the Shack” album. After Touring Europe for six weeks in 2006, The Blue Voodoo began retooling their band and spread the word they were looking to grow the group. Ted Tosoff and Rick Dalgarno, the original Voodooheads brought two new faces into the fold by adding Kelly Stodola on Percussion and Gerry Berg on Bass. Kelly Stodola brings a slamming driving Style that elevates the magic of the BV Vibe coupled with the talented Bass playing of Gerry Berg, the new look Voodoo now has the engine to drive the group to the next level. The Blue Voodoo’s First CD, Ride was played in 18 countries and on over 300 radio stations worldwide. In Australia the Ride CD was named one of the top thirty blues album of the year. In the USA, Blues DJs are saying things like: “Thank you for a killer cd! It has gotten air on both of our blues shows and will be in heavy rotation for a long time coming.
