As of late I havent really been hearing hip hop that moves me... i understand that there are plights in the ghetto as I have been raised and born in Washington Heights, NYC ... and its a great thing where residents of the inner city ghettos actually have a voice at a commercial vanue.. but there isnt enough hip hop that give me that reminiscant feel ... there isnt enough fun , love hip hop.. .. I'm just here to offer an option .. and targeting to do this in a commercial fashion.

well , I am also known as Saywhat?! .. but they deleted some remixes I did of 50 cent and Nas.. so I am using my other stage name.. trueSon.. I am thjinking of using this name or SayWhat?! .. since both fit my content .Have you performed in front of an audience?well I used to perform alot more going around open mic spots in NYC .. but as of late I have been focusing on my music production and working on my album. .. the 2 most memorable moments for me were 1) .. the first time I ever perfomed @ city kids... I was nervous as hell.. it was the biggest crowd I believe at the time.. when I was done... people were lovin' it.. I was so surprised I didnt try to fake the funk and be someone I wasnt ...I spit what I had ... and the amazing feeling of being home.. of being welcome.. that was great... Also .. when I performed a spoken word piece at a poetry slam,.,, I asked celena glenn (who was hosting, great poet) if I could perform.. I had come in late.. well I went up and performed god complex.... and as I was performing I visualized all the words.. I was speaking to everyone in the room... and I can see people felt what I said.. people where shaking "yes" motions and were telling me they felt it.. .. I never had a reaction like that at Nuyorican before.. would love to have it again....

well I am hip hop.. I use FL Studio 4 Producer Edition, Reason 2.5, Cool Edit Pro 2, (now bought by adobe, its called Adobe Audition now) ... I record with a behringer b-2 mic... using a SAMSON MPL 1502 mixer... everything I do is on PC (pent 4) CASIO keyboard just for MIDI , I compose alot of my own work... Soundfonts.. etc...Anything else?
I just hope people enjoy the music ... I hope that it will make people feel good. ... so everyone look out for SayWhat?! aka TrueSon sometime soon... Final DNA is the LABEL!!!
