aenigmaplasme
once upon a time i called it schizophonia. but now the way i work is nearly second-nature and even if it meets with little popular comprehension i do believe it
WildaBeeste WildaBeeste
living in the section of poznan called wilda and think its a beast, i composed this in reaction to the sounds around me. a mixture of my own field recordings and electronic music.

this is a sped up version of a track i made with karolina...i used a tradional kettle drum i found in the basement of an abandoned building to generate the samples that are filled out with parabolics and squares snipped sequenced into danceability
POZNAC GRIND POZNAC GRIND
i came up with this rather chunky groove with the idea of an elephant stampede distantly in my although i believe the elephant largely a peaceful creature. it's a machine age stomp and hip movement is recommended for the full effect.
Neuetnogrammaticker Neuetnogrammaticker
my own field recordings from bali combined with homegrown bone samples, digital giggles and sirens.

this a third generation version of my very first work of electronica (i will post the original in the coming weeks so you can sense the evolution of my style).
schizophonia is the modus operandi. cultural and sonic. music of babel and babylon.long ago the name "orphan sound system" (nyc) came for the trio of my self, john elmanahi, john palumbo. and the occasional sit-in by halliday dresser and andrew last name i forget. but mr. palumbo said "you are orphan sound system". the group members went down separate paths. i adopted the name for my own label. only some years laters did i deem it proper to take up the name again. orphan sound system was born again in berlin in 2006. this time with my own songs, laptop, guitars and two drummers for the live shows: flo blank and caspar nilson wolf. a name change again seems in order. orphan sound system was open ended, free jazz psychedelia, organic trance, polyrythmic "hip-hop", industrial and electronic noise. the reborn orphan sound system (berlin) took up a more focused investigation of ethnogrammar, mainly to amuse a film-maker friend, noe cuellar garza and to explore trance music as mirror for the old orientalisms. now the path for us seems to be set outside of those parameters. again opening to creative indeterminacy. aenigmaplasme just seems like a nice provisional name for something un-nameable anyway.Have you performed in front of an audience?muslimgauze, crash worship, sun city girls, sun ra, asian dub syndicate, but not really...dependseverything possible to be imagined is an image of truth--william blake
