this is a sped up version of a track i made with karolina...i used a tradional kettle drum i found in the basement of an abandoned building to generate the samples that are filled out with parabolics and squares snipped sequenced into danceability

i came up with this rather chunky groove with the idea of an elephant stampede distantly in my although i believe the elephant largely a peaceful creature. it's a machine age stomp and hip movement is recommended for the full effect.

my dear old friend dede sharma loaned me his tabla for a weekend. i sequenced my results here for this piece which i still find strangely hypnotic. it has not been issued on a cd ever and rather minimal, i think to add guitar parts soon.

let's talk about memory here. i can hardly recall how all the bits and pieces came together but nelsorn anders who played the tuba for me to sample can probably one day explain the original groove we concocted. later i added more acousmatic sounds.
