Cool Piece in G minor Cool Piece in G minor
Yes, that is the actual title. I'm honestly not sure how to describe it.

Andante in F Major Andante in F Major
This is an andante in F Major (of course), and it is written in A-B-A' form.

C Minor C Minor
A varied, rather short, through-composed piece with a few recurring themes, but no actual repeats.

As a composer, I'm pretty much a composer on the side. When I have an idea, I write it down and go with it, but I don't focus all my musical energy into being a composer. I actually go through phases, or "seasons" as I would call if, of composing. I may compose very solidly for a few months on end and then not compose a thing for months on end. I am very much passionate about the compositions I do write. I also begin virtually every composition with pencil and staff paper, only transferring it onto an electronic medium (such as MakeMusic(tm)/Finale(tm)) as it becomes a finished product.
Band/artist history
[this, too, is copied and pasted from my main page]
I graduated from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale with a double major in Music and Philosophy. I've been a musician since I was about 5 or 6, having played a variety of instruments since then, including organ (at six years old), guitar (at 11 years old, when I quit playing the organ), some percussion, euphonium, piano (returned to my keyboard roots in college), violin, and mandolin, all in that order. My main instruments at the moment are piano and guitar.
Your musical influences
Classical influences: a lot of Beethoven, a bit of Bach, and a dash of Chopin.
What equipment do you use?
For composing: I, first of all, use a mechanical pencil, an artist's eraser to which I have grown near and dear, and blank staff paper. Then, I use PrintMusic (tm) 2004.
For playing: I have a Yamaha Arius 160 digital stage piano that I absolutely just adore. I highly recommend it. I use it for practicing piano at home. For rock keys and such, I have a Roland E-38. For playing anywhere, it depends on the piano provided (pianists aren't exactly known for instrument cases haha), although my YDP-160 is technically portable.
