What a beautiful song of praise to Our Lord Steven! Very well done with lots of feeling and polish. This one has me singing right along with you...I'm almost hearing a harmony line forming underneath. :) And the message is very inspiring and uplifting. Wow...the combination of gentle acoustic guitar, melancholic synth and your alternating between spoken and sung vocals make this one a powerfully emotional tune for sure!

I really like the driving guitar and bass in this one. The syth effects give an ethereal feel to it. And the vocals are very emotional and uplifting as well...GREAT message!

This song sounds great Crosby, stills, Nash and Young sounded just like this no singer was in the back they were all up front I hear who the influence is and why you choose to record this sound great tune and great message.
I am not a huge country fan but this is not country.
I feel odd when I try to comment on Country stuff cause I am not a country artist, that is why I produce Rock and POP not the other.
In a pro studio with a label, the A&R and or publisher that listens to a song is someone that is sold out to the given style that means a lot when getting someones input so if the person is not into your style, do not listen to a single word.

I hear a lot of Niel Young in your songs this one stands out in that style and sound. I have a Niel Young style song called Been Hear far to Long.
I would say it is great when a person sings from the heart about our savior, Spirit wind is that from old Chuck Gerard song?
I know chuck cool man, he played at our coffee house in warwick R.I. years ago.

Music is an art, we all paint with different colors, it is your song not mine, not anyones, aside from Jesus.use FX till your eyes fall out if that is what you hear and like.
CCM music esp Rock is rich with FX, but you must have a rock ear, mind and talent and be a listener of rock and rock CCM to understand this and enjoy it.
I have had only one person tell me I used to much reverb on a super heavy Rock song, That was my intention, it was recorded that way, when we were young we had to read the Rock album lyrics why? in Rock only 25% of the lyrics were clear enough to understand.but you have to be a Floyd fan and other bands to understand.
do your thing the way you do it, and how you want to do it and follow your heart and ears.
