The birthday mix! I thank God for fifty three wonderful years on this earth. This mix also just happens to be my 53'rd song on SoundClick. Another wonderful combination from the Catalyst 1 collection provided the seed for this one.

Inspired by my favourite temple in Egypt, Djeser Djeseru. The Lady Pharaoh Hatshepsut ruled in the 18th Dynasty and left us this magnificent temple at Deir-el-Bahri. Much thanks to Moreno Caponi for the custom art done for this tune. Version 3.

Another great combi from the Catalyst 1 collection for the OASYS yields this fun high-energy number. The start to version 1 was bugging me, so here's version 2 with some cymbals and French horns added.

Another Midnighter. From a great OASYS combination that employs all kinds of little sound effects throughout. I threw in that stepped Cuica sound from the Roland JV-1080 and thought it added a nice world element to the tune.

Version 4 of a song done in tribute to one of my fave movies 'Still Breathing'. I just love that puppet show scene for the sick little girl.
Soundworld Soundworld
The OASYS combi used for this one reminded me of an album Steve Roach did with Michael Shrieve called "The Leaving Time." It was inevitable that I would finally use Soundworld as the title for a song!
Suspended Suspended
A KARMA based rough mix from the Korg OASYS. The name is derived from that lovely A#sus2 chord. I'm thinking it needs a double lead in places. I'll work on it more later.
STB! STB!
Basically, a one off practice track from the fictional Soundworld Band. When I heard that funky bass on the OASYS, I just knew I had to use it for something. The V-Synth GT blows a pretty mean sax. The title? "Spank That Bass!"

Version 2. Like 'Flare Station', mixing KARMA grooves with the syncopation of wavesequencing gets mo funk! I finally got the timing errors under control by quantizing.

This one mixes a V-Synth patch called "Flare Star" with a cool OASYS combi that combines KARMA with wavesequencing made popular on the Wavestation, hence the amalgamated name.

The "Zero" finally gets its long awaited rework replete with some tasty percussion elements from the Korg Triton thrown in for good measure. An energetic bass line and cool 3/4 KARMA groove fuels this one.

Named after my favourite Mexican restaurant and cantina, Casa Milagro in Richardson, Texas. Posing for the picture on the comfy patio and enjoying a Mojo Mojito is the lovely daytime hostess Magdalena.
