Always fascinating in your lyrical and conceptual approaches, you continue to blaze a unique artistic path in a style that is 100% your own. Your duet with Carlo is a fresh change of pace from your other great tracks. Love the ways this one builds the arrangement near the end. Your creativity and self-confidence are refreshing and I envy that about you. Well done, Sandy and Carlo!

I like this a lot better than most of the fabricated pop songs that I hear on radio. Very good work to both of you on this terrific collab!!!

Song: Right Now
This is indeed perfect pop, with a nice Motown beat, and is that Carole Kay on bass guitar ? :) this is just right for Summer listening. If this was a freebee download, I'd be grooving to it all day on my I-pod. Don't suppose . . . ah well, you can but ask. lol

Hey ! this is a nice happy pop song. Seeing as you also like the fab 1960's, how can I not give this song a great big thumbs up . . . Great production singing and playing. Now, if this was a 45 single, I'd rush out and buy it. How much? . . . 6 shillings and six pence ? lol

Sandy, Excellent job weaving lyrics and melody around in that unpredictable arrangement. Your double-tracked voice is lovely and the little harmony parts really are a cool touch (around 1:47) - wish we could hear more of your harmonies. Your lyrics are poignant - not too many people can so so much in so few words! Love the reference to the Bible - very nice touch. The interesting turns and dreamy mood work perfectly to make this airy, spacious track a listener's delight. Well done! Your fan, Johnny

Very nice vocals and a very spritely and humorous piece. Has almost a Felliniesque feel. Great work O Shimmerpuppy!

Sexy, yet out-of-body. Reminds me of a French film in the 60s. Nice lyrics, and they tell a neat story with feeling! Have you ever heard Flora Purim, and her husband Airto? Reminds me of their style - saucy and jazzy. Lovely song, Miz Songstress!

Excellent lyrics, Sandy. You captured a fantastic mood that suggests video even without any images. Your Peter Pan-meets-Audrey Hepburn approach is both inspiring and intimate to the point where the listener may blush at what appears to be your musical diary. Great arrangment - the parts of the song are very different which keeps it interesting. Great job maximizing the minimalist backing - it showcases your vulnerable vocals. I'm always impressed by your creativity, especially in lyrics, but the total package here is a winner. Congrats! Your fan, Johnny

Hi Sandy, Well I read Johnnys review I hope you understand it. LOL! Well anyway. This is a very unique sound on this track. Has splashes of Hey BullDog meets Madonna. A touch of the far east. Is that a male voice at the very end in harmony. Very good use of effects. Another year and lets hope the New year Shimmers in creativity. Nice work.

Sandy, Stopped by for a spin of "Wrapped in Blue" after our conversation... Really takes on a deeper meaning now. Wow.
