Ziel was formed in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in the fall of 2003. Currently based in Den Haag, The Netherlands. Our sound can be categorized as Hard Rock, running on a blend of Hard Rock, Metal, Nu-Metal, Punk, Funk and Blues. The band is currently busy finalizing a 11 track independent album under Village Roof Enterprise.

influences range from metallica to guns n roses to Rage Against The Machine to the goo goo dolls to name a couple..
What equipment do you use?
guitars: ESP/LTD MH100 (red), ESP/LTD F200 (black) Applause(ovation) semi-acoustic. Amp: Marshall AVT150 effects: an array of boss stomp boxes and one aria pro stomp box. Bass guitar: Squire P-bass Bass Amp: Roland Recorder: Roland VS2000cd Mic's: AKG D660S's (good damn mic's) Samson C01 Mansion drum mic's
Anything else?
We've been told that we sound like PearJam, Metallica, Thearapy?, Butterfingers.... Our recording was done at the Village Roof Enterprise (Malaysia) garage studio on a Roland VS2000cd, editing and some of the vocals recorded were done at S.A.E. Rotterdam, NL.
