Phly had linked up with an old High School buddy Javaun Sims also known as Jay Child. At the time Jay Child had a group called The Govament now called Tha Black Govament who he started the group up with Lawerence Bostic also known as Wizdom a super producer also from Portland, Oregon. Yung Phly and Jay Child would rap on the phone all the time going over verses that they would write everyday. Jay Child loved Phly's works ethic so much he decied to add him to his group The Gov. Yung Phly is influence from rappers Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, T.I., The Game, Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, and many more. He has open up for artist such as Lil Wayne, Too $hort, Young Dro, and many more. Right now he is working on his own mixtape called "Phly Nation" coming to a hood near you soon.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes I do shows but I haven't been doing any that often. My major influences are 2Pac, Jay-Z and Nas. I would also say The Game and Lil Wayne. I'm not into crashing guitars or Motown r&b I'm Hip Hop! I love Hip Hop I love music.What equipment do you use?
