I am a solo artist and have been creating my own songs for over 20 years. I have now purchased the necessary recording equipment to create some decent recordings and have started the process of putting my music out there. So much, so much, from 60's and 70's progressive rock to modern alternative.
What equipment do you use?
My "no budget" production studio includes a used $75 Tascam portable digital deck, drum software I downloaded on the internet, a $75 fender squire strat I recently bought used, a $99 acoustic guitar, and of course my infamous guitar picks which consist of a Dick's sporting goods card that I cut into pieces. If I ever made money doing this I would probably upgrade a few things.
