Hi, Y-tee is my name, A Producer/Rap artist from Ghana, i make beats all the time and also like recording with other producers beat. Basically, i love to jump on any hot beat that grabs my attention. Y-Tee, real name Isaac Fernando Minyila was born 5th August 1986, he was raised in Ghana, Africa. While in school there, he played a major role when it came to entertainment. Always performing hip hop music and living a different lifestyle from that of a regular Ghanaian, friends always told him, his place is not in Ghana, his place is in America. In 2003, Y-Tee scored to a scholarship to study in America (Minnesota) but there were extreme rules that held him back from his entertainment career. He returned to Ghana in 2004, completed high school and started his career in music, always recording in the studio with a producer friend Paa Jay of studio 502, which was located about 200 miles away from his home. In 2005, he opened his own recording studio, it was the first recording studio to ever be opened in his region (the upper east region). Always recording, producing hits and promoting them on the radio, he had what he needed to proceed to open his own label. But in 2005, he scored the chance to come back to the USA, so he left everything for a fresh start. Making up his mind solely for music, he started putting up a home studio and started recording his first solo album; it was released on August 08, 2007, under his own record label Jab Entertainment. The whole CD was composed, written, produced and mixed by Y-Tee and the CD was everywhere, on the top music distribution sites like billboard.com, Aol.com, iTunes.com,Rhaphsody.com, vh1.com, snocap.com and many more but the album didn't make good sales because he didn't have any publicity. He learnt his lesson, went and did his home work, went back to the studio to perfect his style. Now looking for financial stability to go independent or looking for a deal, Y-Tee isn't rushing his time anymore, just looking for a deal for his album.
