Over the years, Yrsan Daro played in rock, jazz, and blues bands, gave solo classical recitals, and wrote and performed scores for dozens of professional theatrical productions. His debut CD, "Dreams of Wind and Water" is a collection of solo piano improvisations reflecting a variety of moods, from the serenity of "Moonlight on the Black Sea" to the exuberance of "Sail Races".
Daro's second CD, "Beyond the Edge of Time", is a fusion of world, classical, new age and jazz elements. While it still features the scintillating piano work of the "Dreams", the songs also include hard-edged percussion, synthesizers, and a variety of world and ethnic instruments.
