i tryed some new things in this song, the bass is great and the vocal fx are pretty great too, very hard too, i think it shows how you dont need guitars to make something heavy.
i write and perform record and produce all tracks. without out the use of other ppls samples. i write my music from the ground up and is 100% original. most of the topics covered
are my personal experience ranging from very sad to very happy =) i try my hardest to be true about all my material and dont pose.Band/artist history
ive been writing and performing for about 10years or so, ive been in bands and stuff, but those always get drama and i like to work where i can concentrate with guitarists and drummers argueing so i went solo and wrote my own albums.Have you performed in front of an audience?yeah, but its been sometime, since the last album probably. i play local clubs and parties mostly. for live shows i set up my vocals through automated machines or hire an operator(someone who runs my computers, loads songs and runs mixers). all i have to is play guitar and sing, or play keyboards depeneds what the song calls for. i like to play alot though i have some problems playing in front of people, a few beers usually helps. i try to make shows really emotional and eventfull.
Your musical influences
geez....thats tough. i consider anything i have liked an influence. i listen to allsorts of stuff ranging from r&b rap hiphop pop to rock metal deathmetal nu metal industrial techno electronica.
for example i totally enjoy max martin's work, he's a great artist, but doesnt get much recognition cuz he likes it that way, the man writes hit after hit, if you dont know who he is look him up. i also love pantera and anthrax, probably my 2 all time favorite metal bands. the great southern trendkill by pantera is probably one of my favs next to there far beyond driven. as for the industrial view of things nine inch nails is my alltime favorite industrial music, i love trents expression and the way he constantly progressess his musical skills and the path of evolution he's taken musically. the fragile is probably my favorite album, but pretty hate machine makes it hard to decide. suicide commando is great too. prodigy is great stuff as well of loa jade4u has pipes and their guitar work is great for techno. What equipment do you use?
there's a broad range for this one hehe. on the computer side i use fruityloops, cooledit pro, vst plugins, dx plugins, dxi's vsti's, and anything that proves itself usefull in the studio without crashing to much, its windows though so it happens. my prefered keyboards are yamaha's i love the psr series. they're great and can handle of alot of abuse. i currently use memphis guitars, these guitars are cheap and take alot of abuse too and when your doing alot of rowdy stuff durings shows it comes in handy, and the damage doesnt hurt your wallet to much. for pedals i love my zoom pedals, they're fast reliable sound wonderfull and have a good variety for sound fx.
for drum machines and stuff i like grooveboxes. they are relatively easy to use and sound really good.Anything else?
most of the music i do is really emotional, thats what its about. but its also about expressing myself in a way that i can harness the knowledge of music to my best of my abilities. i like to use alot of theory and can describe most of my songs with music theory. im actually working on a book called theory ease. its basically a book that provides the starting and advanced musician with an easy to understand method of learning.Contact
