* This artist strikes me right away as one who brings irony, humor and sarcasm to the field. There's some really sad moments between the lines, others sport an LOL for what he raps about.
The best feature is the wide variety of topics, nothing is off limits for him, and he obviously draws from inspired moments in the daily world around him.
The voice also has a great deal of expression, using the voice like an instrument, with a pretty wide range of pitch. This makes the effect of emphasizing the lines he wants to stick out. Or it clues you in to the punch line. Or the range in his voice creates the sarcasm, conveys the irony, however he chooses it, he manipulates it so that the meaning of the lyric cuts through. Unique and interesting delivery.
The BIG Bang is amazing, really captures the idea and puts it out with humor and style. All his songs have this unique sense of perspective, in writing it's called the voice, the definition of the person speaking, the character that comes through to the audience. This perspective is pronounced in all his tracks, his songs here on SoundClick making an interesting collection of viewpoints, jokes and stories. A little like a good musical blog. If you haven't seen his page in a while he has cranked out a lot of new stuff in the last month so it's worth checking out if you would like a departure from ordinary HH!! *

* XoC's linguistic wordplay over finely crafted beats is something you have to hear. He manages to cram so much words per bar, that its amazing he can even catch a breath! His storytelling ability is up there with the likes of Eminem, Nas and Kanye. Keep making that fire and keeping NYC lyricists on the map *

I started with a Roland JX-305 and moved my way up with Sonar, Acid, Reason, Live and Protools, not to mention the many plug-ins I use.Have you performed in front of an audience? In front of the mirror, for my friends and them, yeah, great shows those were... LOL!!!
Your musical influences
Eminem, Kanye, Biggie, Jay Z, Nas, Common, the whole Native Tongues movement, and all the other """LYRICISTS""" out there. Those that can string together words in fascinating ways and ride a beat like nobody's business.
p.s. i just discovered Nerdcore and i realize there's a bunch of lyrical people out there. wow and double wow. Some of them put the big names to shame. What equipment do you use?
I have countless hardware, but everything is sequenced, edited and mastered in Pro Tools.Anything else?
Im a multi faceted individual who is interested in everything and anything. I keep thousands of random thoughts and useless trivia floating around in the head. I can converse with people easily because of my abilty to quickly connect on some level with an individual.Count Crapula = 5 stars d00d. Well done. Thanks man. Ive always enjoyed your work also. Very soulful and inventive, keep it up.thats wzp man...for sure...one day soon...very soon.Good stuff you've got here, I really like 'The Suffering', nice message there.
