XL the original started rapping in 1988, 2 years later he hooked up with several signed acts in the christian hip hop scene( west coast) such as T-bone, SFC ( sup the chemist), Dynamic twins,Freedom of soul( peace 586),Tunnel Rats,Apocalypse (from Texas)
Idol king, Gospel gangstas, Gods GOG's, 12th tribe, etc... all of which I have either recorded with or shared the stage with all acts were either on WORD records or FRONTLINE, in 1993 XL scored his own deal with Word in a band called XL and death before dishonor. which sold about 30,000 copies now since several years away he's back at it.

ALL the time, I've played cornerstone in illinois, sonshine fest in minnesota,super fest in southern Ca, toured with dc talk, newsboys, crucified, mortal, SFC, 12th tribe, played the fox theatre in detroit, Georgetown,Florida, Indianapolis, wisconsin, opened up for LA GUNS in orange county, opened up for KRS1 in CA, shared a stage with bb dickerson from WAR, did studio work with OZ FOX from STRYPER etc.... I have payed a few dues
